About the play:
"Little Amadeus" is a lyrical and musical story that tells the story of the formative years of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who was a child prodigy and grew up to be a genius composer.
At 3 years of age Mozart already played the piano and at 5 he composed his first piece. Yet most of all little Amadeus wants to be a normal child and play outside.
The play is beautifully set and performed by Gadit Cohen:
An actress portraying all characters using puppets, finger puppets as well as large hats and wigs. During the play we are exposed to many of Mozart's musical pieces.
Gadit takes us to an amazing visual and emotional journey by creating magical moments using the best theater can offer. With her unique talent Gadit tells a story which is both intelligent and entertaining!

"Little Amadeus" first premiered at the International Children's Theater Festival in Haifa, Israel 2008.
The play won First Prizes for:
Best Actress 2008.
Best Wardrobe and Props 2008.
The Unique and Outstanding Award for a New Children's Original Play 2008.
The play won 1st prize at "THREE ARE TOO MANY- TWO NOT ENOUGH" international puppet festival- Plovdiv,Bulgaria 2009
